Like most lubricating oils in industrial applications, the fire-resistant oil should be kept clean, cool and dry in the fire-resistant oil system of a steam turbine in a power plant. The oxidative and thermal stability of different types of oils varies widely, so care must be taken to keep the temperature of the storage environment for fire-resistant oils within acceptable limits.

The EH oil in the fire-resistant oil system is a triaryl phosphate ester, which is characterized by its appearance as transparent as water, and the new oil is light yellow to the naked eye, without sediment, not volatile, wear-resistant, and physically stable. Its normal working temperature is 20-60℃. The fire-resistant oil used in the electro-hydraulic control system of the power plant is a kind of pure phosphate liquid which is fire-resistant.

Contaminants in the environment where the fuel-resistant fuel system is connected to the outside can easily enter the system. Not only can these contaminants impair the functionality of the equipment, they can even alter the oil's flame-retardant properties. In general, fire resistant oils require regular monitoring of base oils and additives for abnormal levels of contamination, abnormal water concentrations, fluctuations in acid value, wear debris or changes in other physical or chemical properties.

A high-quality fuel-resistant filter element is critical to maintaining the longevity of the system, especially the critical valves, actuator seals and oil pumps in the system. If the filter element does not play its due role in pollution control, it will cause great harm to the entire system and lay a hidden danger for the safe production of the power plant.

Fuel resistant filters and elements should meet the minimum filtration requirements and limitations specified by equipment and hydraulic oil manufacturers. Secondly, it is necessary to make appropriate adjustments according to the on-site working conditions to meet the actual needs of the system and maintain the reliable cleanliness of the fire-resistant fluid.
