Why Does Bladder Accumulator NXQ-AB-80/10 FY Use Nitrogen?

The bladder type accumulator NXQ-AB-80/10 FY is used in the hydraulic oil system, and the interior of the air bladder is filled with gas. Due to significant volume changes in the bladder of the accumulator, it is still possible for the internal gas to maintain a relatively high pressure. Therefore, it is required that the gas properties must be stable and inert to avoid explosion hazards under high pressure.

Nitrogen has stable properties and does not have oxidation or reduction properties, which will not cause oxidation/reduction denaturation of hydraulic oil. Moreover, under high pressure, nitrogen can continue to maintain a certain pressure on the hydraulic oil, slowing down the significant fluctuations in oil pressure and providing a good buffering effect.

In addition to nitrogen, accumulators can also use helium, neon, and other inert gas as filling media. But these gases are more expensive than nitrogen. Therefore, users of bladder accumulator NXQ-AB-80/10 FY generally use nitrogen.

If filled with ordinary air, it has active oxygen, which not only causes oxidation/reduction denaturation of hydraulic oil, but also poses a risk of explosion.
