The oil pump HSNH80Q-46NZ is used for the sealing oil system of the generator. When the oil pump is started, the exhaust valve installed on the outlet side of the system must be opened until the air on the suction side of the pump is completely discharged: if liquid emerges from it, the valve can be closed. This pump is self priming and can automatically exhaust without the need for backpressure.

During machine maintenance, it should be stopped. The operating procedures for machine shutdown specified in the manual must be followed. After the maintenance is completed, all safety and protective devices should be reinstalled immediately to restore their normal functions.

The rotation direction of the HSNH80Q-46NZ oil pump drive motor should be consistent with the arrow indication on the pump. The direction of rotation can be checked by opening the inlet and outlet valves and momentarily connecting the motor. If the direction of rotation is incorrect, the pump will not have suction, which will damage the pump components.
