How Does LVDT Sensor HL-3-300-15 Control Valve Opening?

The HL-3-300-15 LVDT position sensor for steam turbine is used in the DEH control system, mainly for stable and fast control of the actuator or valve opening. Yoyik introduces how the DEH system utilizes the LVDT displacement sensors to achieve this goal.

When the main steam valve needs to be opened larger, the servo valve introduces pressure oil into the lower part of the piston, and the pressure oil overcomes the spring force and steam force to open the valve larger. LVDT sensor HL-3-300-15 feeds back its travel signal to DEH.

 

When the main steam valve needs to be turned down, the servo valve connects the lower part of the piston to drain oil. Under the action of spring force and steam force, the valve is turned down, and LVDT sensor HL-3-300-15 feeds back its travel signal to DEH.

When the valve is opened or closed to the desired position, DEH combines its command with the LVDT sensor HL-3-300-15 feedback signal to return the servo valve to the zero position, blocking its oil inlet and outlet, and keeping the valve in the designated position.
