The principle of signal measurement for thermal expansion sensor TD-2 is based on the relationship between the sensor output signal and the temperature change being measured. The greater the coefficient of thermal expansion, the more obvious the change of the sensor output signal.

This change can be expressed by the coefficient of thermal expansion of the sensor material.
