Why Must Keep the Generator End Cover Air-Tight?

How to check the sealing effect of generator end cover?

The sealing effect of generator end cover can be judged by the following methods:

1. Visual inspection method: check whether there is oil stain or water stain at the interface between the end cover and the shell. If there are obvious signs of leakage, there is a problem with the end cover seal.

2. Sound inspection method: listen to the noise of the generator during operation. If the noise becomes larger or abnormal sound is found, it may be caused by poor sealing of the end cover.

3. Thermal detection method: measure the temperature change of the end cover when the generator is running. If the temperature of the end cover is too high, it may be caused by poor sealing of the end cover.
