Working principle and maintenance of Double Gear Pump GPA2-16-16-E-20-R6.3

Working principle and maintenance of Double Gear Pump GPA2-16-16-E-20-R6.3

The internal gear pump GPA2-16-16-E-20-R6.3 is a high-performance hydraulic pump widely used in hydraulic systems of various machinery such as machine tools, packaging, injection molding, lifting, die-casting, artificial board processing, and food processing.

The working principle of gear pump GPA2-16-16-E-20-R6.3 is based on the meshing and rotation between gears to transport fluid. Gears are designed for internal meshing, where the teeth of a gear mesh with the teeth of another gear, rather than being pointed to each other like external meshing gears. This design reduces internal leakage of the pump and improves its efficiency. When the gears rotate inside the pump casing, their meshing generates pressure, pushing the fluid from the suction side towards the discharge side. When the gear rotates, the decrease in the space between the teeth causes the fluid to be sucked into the pump, while the increase in the space between the teeth pushes the fluid towards the discharge pipeline. This periodic spatial variation is caused by the meshing and rotation of gears.

Regular maintenance and inspection are crucial to ensure the normal operation and extended service life of gear pump GPA2-16-16-E-20-R6.3. Here are some maintenance methods:

  1. 1. Daily inspection: Check if there is any abnormal noise or vibration in the pump, if the displacement and pressure are normal, if there is any leakage in the seals, and if the cooling system is working properly.
  2. 2. Regular inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection every six months or 1000 hours to check whether the gears and bearings of the pump show signs of wear, the quality and cleanliness of the oil, whether the seals are intact, and whether there is any leakage or damage to the pipes and connections.
  3. 3. Cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean the suction and discharge filters of the pump, clean the pump casing and internal dirt, and maintain the efficiency of the pump. Check and keep the cooling system of the pump clean to prevent poor heat dissipation.
  4. 4. Lubrication: Regularly check and add lubricating oil to the pump to ensure the appropriate amount of oil. Check the quality of the lubricating oil, and replace it promptly if there are impurities or discoloration.
  5. 5. Adjustment and calibration: Regularly adjust the pressure and flow control valve of the pump to ensure its normal operation. Calibrate the start and stop control system of the pump to ensure accurate response.
