Methods of Applying the Insulating Adhesive 53841WC on Generator

The insulating epoxy adhesive 53841WC is used for fixing the spacer blocks at the end of the stator coil of the steam turbine generator, fixing the leads, and applying insulation between the insulation layers of the connection line joints, coil joints, and under narrow space conditions. It is a room temperature cured two component adhesive mainly composed of low viscosity epoxy resin, fillers, and liquid amines.

Here are the methods of using the epoxy adhesive 53841WC.

RTV Epoxy Adhesive 53841WC

  1. 1. Before applying the product, ensure that the surface is dry, clean, smooth, and free of grease and impurities. Alcohol or other suitable cleaning agents can be used to clean the surface and wiped dry with clean cloth.
  2. 2. Mix component A and component B of the adhesive according to the ratio. Use a dry and clean container and mixer to thoroughly mix the two components until a uniform mixture is obtained.
  3. 3. Apply the mixed epoxy adhesive 53841WC to the area that needs to be bonded, ensuring uniform application and consistent thickness.
  4. 4. Place the components to be bonded on the surface coated with epoxy adhesive and apply appropriate pressure to make them tightly bonded. Wait for a certain time to fully cure the adhesive according to its curing time and temperature requirements.
