GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300: Main Applications and Features

GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300: Main Applications and Features

The GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 is suitable for the transfer of media that is non-corrosive, free of solid particles, and has a tendency to solidify at normal temperatures. Single-stage single-suction pumps are particularly suitable for outdoor installation in extreme cold regions and processes where the medium requires insulation. The medium temperature can reach up to 250°C with a viscosity range of 5~1500 cst. The GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 is available in two materials: standard and cast steel, both with an insulated casing. These pumps are designed for liquids that have a tendency to solidify or crystallize at normal temperatures but flow easily and have lubricating properties when heated and kept at a constant temperature, especially for outdoor installation in extreme cold regions and processes where insulation is necessary. The pump pre-heats the medium, which reduces the starting power required.

The materials of the GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 are classified according to working temperatures. Type I material HT200 is suitable for transferring media to below 200°C, while Type II material Q235 is suitable for transferring non-corrosive, solid-free media with a temperature of up to 350°C at normal temperatures and for outdoor installation in extreme cold regions where insulation is required during the process.

Main Applications:

The GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 is suitable for transferring media that is non-corrosive, free of solid particles, and has a tendency to solidify at normal temperatures. They are particularly suitable for outdoor installation in extreme cold regions and processes where the medium requires insulation. The medium temperature can reach up to 250°C with a viscosity range of 5~1500 cst.

Application Range:

The GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 is used for transferring heavy oil, asphalt, rubber, resins, detergents, etc.

Structural Features:

The GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 is a hollow casing and front/rear covers with inserted tubes for heating and cooling. These pumps are suitable for normal temperature solidification and outdoor installation in extreme cold regions where insulation is required during the process. They can be heated using hot oil, steam, hot water, or cold water media to heat the transferred liquid and the pump for insulation and cooling purposes. For media with a viscosity greater than 1500 cst, a reducer should be adopted.

GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300 (2)

When using the GEAR OIL PUMP RCB-300, it is important to note that they should not run continuously at less than 30% of the designed flow. If operation is under this condition, a bypass pipe should be installed at the outlet to ensure the flow exceeds the minimum value mentioned above. The heat transferred to the pump casing and bearings from the medium should be dissipated through the surface of the casing and bearing housing to adapt the temperature of the bearing housing to the temperature required for shaft seal performance. Therefore, when selecting the installation position of the GEAR OIL PUMP , it is necessary to facilitate the heat dissipation from the pump casing and bearing housing without any heat storage phenomena.
