Functions of DF9012 Rotation Speed Monitor

The DF9012 speed monitor plays a critical role in ensuring proper operation of rotating machinery and maintaining equipment safety. Equipment damage and accident caused by abnormal axial displacement can be avoided through real-time monitoring and timely alarm, so as to ensure production safety and improve equipment operation efficiency.

The turbine speed is usually measured by rotation speed sensors. As the rotor rotates, the sensor outputs signals proportional to the rotational speed, which are sent to the monitor for processing. When the rotation speed monitor DF9012 receives the signal from the sensor, it firstly processes the signal, including filtering, amplification, reshaping, etc., to eliminate noise and interference and ensure the accuracy and stability of the signal. The processed signal is used to drive the LED digital tube display on the monitor to display the real-time speed of the steam turbine. In this way, the operating state of the steam turbine can be seen visually. The rotation speed monitor DF9012 can judge whether the alarm signal is sent out according to the set alarm threshold. At the same time, it can send signals to the control system through relay output or digital signal output, so as to take emergency shutdown and other measures.

DF9012 tachometer is a kind of equipment used to monitor and protect the axial position of rotating machinery such as steam turbine, water turbine, compressor and blower. It has various functions and can meet various measurement requirements. Its main functions are as follows:

 

  • Display function: it can display the measured value of axial displacement, alarm and shutdown set value, and display through LED digital tube.
  • Alarm function: in case of alarm, shutdown or input signal failure, it is indicated by LED.
  • Alarm delay time setting: the delay time can be adjusted from 0 to 3 seconds to reduce false alarm caused by field disturbance.
  • Self-diagnosis function: it can detect faults of the input system, such as probe wear, poor contact or breakage of lead, and cut off the alarm and shutdown output circuits. At the same time, it has power-on and power-off detection functions to effectively suppress false alarm.
  • Output interface: it has a 4-20mA current output universal interface and can be connected with computer, DCS, PLC system, paperless recorder and other equipment.
